Great experience, Staff very pleasant and polite. Rooms good, clean, bed very comfortable..location ideal for theatre, shows,gigs, etc. I'll definitely use the hotel again and recommend to family members and friends. Also a big thankyou to Heather (reception) for making me feel welcome.

We stayed at this hotel from Monday 25th to Wednesday 27th March. This is a no frills hotel however the staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable - they told us about using the cafe across of the road where there was a 10% discount on production of the room key. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent. Places to eat nearby: Picadilly Tavern and Wetherspoons were nearby and both open early and do a good breakfast. Picadilly bus and tram stations are a 5 minute walk away. Manchester Picadilly railway station is about a 10 minute walk and Victoria station is about a 15 minute walk. Manchester has a lot to offer.

Hotel was very central and easy to reach from the train station. Hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful for anything we required. Room was a little on the small side but had an handy alcove for any bags we had. Bathroom small and tidy, very clean. Hotel itself a little on the noisier side, the room walls were quite thin and could hear noise from other rooms during the day but never noticed any issues at night. Noise from outside the hotel was nonexistent considering our room was on the ground floor. Certainly didn't have any trouble sleeping. Pillows were quite flat but serviceable, we likely could have gotten more at reception had we thought to ask. Only complaint I would have is housekeeping seem to have missed the room while cleaning over the few days we stayed, not a major problem as fresh towels were available from reception as we needed them. Very decent budget hotel for the price. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central hotel to explore the area for a couple of days or anyone travelling for an event.
